The stars all came out -- stars meaning specifically-designated Bay Area female literary figures -- for the official launch party for Defenestration, the Bay Area's sleek new all-female literary journal! Add The COCK-T's to that mix, and you've got one rowdy reading on your hands. Benefitting the American Diabetes Association, this fabulous happening at the Rickshaw Stop gave us our first crack at the zine and raised hecka fly dollars for a hecka fly cause. Featured writers Jen Dalton, Rhonda Mae Botello, Lisa Crovo Dion, Alexandra D'Italia, and Micah Pilkington gave exclusive readings of their featured prose... and The COCK-T's gave exclusive readings of their fly-by-night, half-ass-written book report assignments.
